Corso Italian Steak: Reviews & Ratings

Absolutely love the Corso. Boise has been in need of a place like this. The staff at the Corso is very welcoming and very accommodating. The high back seats in the dining room give you a sense of privacy. They even have a few tables that can be obscured by curtains for privacy. The food is carefully prepared and it shows in every bite. There is obviously a ton of thought that went into the preparation of the drink menu. The bar staff is super personable and visible from every angle at their horseshoe shaped bar top. The bar atmosphere is top notch. I can't wait for the speakeasy to open. So far we have had about 40% of everything on the menu and it is amazing. I highly recommend the filet Oscar and the spaghetti with meatballs...the salmon is also to die for. 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We went for an 8pm reservation on a Sunday night and got there early, they sat us immediately and gave us choice of dining or bar areas. Wait staff quickly attended to our table. Delicious cocktails; definitely recommend the Fluorescent Adolescence. Well priced steaks for quality and portion. Tuna appetizer was amazing! Table bread was warm and seasoned with rosemary. Great decor and ambiance.

My husband and I went on a date to Corso. When you walked in, the place took you back. To a classy Italian restaurant with updated decor. The music is old school. The bench seats are surprisingly firm and comfortable. The service was impeccable. I loved our server and the water girl. They were so sweet! We started out by ordering the Italian Chopped Salad. The pops of flavor with the salami, chopped vegetables, the dressing and the freshly ground pepper all married well together. We then ordered the Fried Caprese. Absolutely loved! This is a must! For our main course, I ordered the Oscar Style Filet. The steak was super tender and easy to eat. The lump crab, the ‘Oscar Style’, was perfection. I would order this again! My husband ordered the 16oz SRE Ribeye Silver. Very delicious. Packed with simple flavor. I don’t like overly flavored steak with too many seasonings. This was perfection. I had the wild mushrooms for my side, and my husband ordered the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Both delicious. For dessert, we ordered the Pistachio Crème Brûlée. What a wonderful spin adding the pistachio flavor. Chef’s kiss!

Incredible! This is now my favorite restaurant in Boise. Italian inspired steakhouse. The vibes are immaculate, the servers are fabulous, and the ambiance is unmatched. The food was flavorful and cooked to perfection. We visited with a large party for a birthday. We were seated in a private room which was perfect. Our server took great care of us. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’m blown away that more people aren’t talking about this place. 11/10 some of the best food in Boise.

This place is amazing! It has so many intimate booths inside and old Hollywood vibes. Great for a date night, special occasion, or wanting to have an amazing experience and awesome food! The cocktails were amazing, we had a Negroni, vodka martini, and Corsair's Grog. Oysters and beef tartar for an app were both very delicious. Our entrees were lasagna bolognese which comes with a cheesy bechamel sauce to pour over it and a seafood linguini with black squid ink pasta and a pistachio pesto. Both were to die for! We can't wait to come back and try more dishes. The service was top notch! I highly recommend it!!!

Corso Italian Steakhouse is a stunning new addition to Boise’s dining scene, delivering an unforgettable experience from the moment you walk in. My husband and I went with two friends and were immediately transported by the atmosphere. The main dining room evokes an old-school Italian steakhouse with red velvet drapes enclosing private booths, classic central seating, and timeless elegance in every detail. The bar, tucked away in a separate room, feels like a speakeasy—dark, intimate, and full of character. With the music, ambiance, and vintage touches, it feels like Sinatra himself could be dining at the next table. Corso is a truly special place, and unlike anything else Boise has right now. The service was exceptional. Our server, Vic, was warm, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs with confidence and care. To start, I had the burrata salad, which was sweet, creamy, perfectly dressed, and topped with raspberries and candied walnuts. It was technically shareable, but I wouldn’t dream of sharing it. The beef carpaccio was also outstanding—delicate, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with capers and a touch of acidity. My husband had the Lasagna Bolognese, and it completely stole the show. Rich layers of meat and pasta were finished tableside with a velvety béchamel sauce that included tender bits of prosciutto. Every bite was indulgent and memorable. Our friends raved about their dishes too. The clam chowder was rich and comforting, and the six Pacific Coast oysters were huge and briny fresh. For entrées, they chose the surf and turf and the lamb shank. Both were beautifully prepared, and the steak in particular was so tender it melted like butter. Everyone was reaching across the table for a taste. The cocktails were just as memorable. The “Joey Corso” managed to capture the essence of a caprese salad in a clear, refreshing drink. The white Negroni was refined and balanced, and I could happily sip the Prosecco-bourbon blend all night. Each drink was carefully crafted and full of personality. Dessert was the perfect finish. The flourless chocolate cake was rich and decadent, the pistachio crème brûlée had a lovely nutty flavor with a crisp sugar top, and the towering coconut cake was both stunning and delicious. We’re already planning several return visits with family. The private booths offer a quieter experience, perfect for guests who need it, and the entire evening—from food to service to setting—was outstanding. Corso is exactly what Boise has been missing, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Our server was fantastic and very attentive. The FOOD!!! I have so much to say about everything I ate and drank, ALL EXCEPTIONAL!!! To keep this post short, I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Overall WE highly recommend. BTW: a birdie told us they have a great happy hour from 4-6 each day. Can't wait to go back and enjoy!!

What a great place! Everyone was so friendly, atmosphere terrific, nice variety of items on the menu, and the food was delicious! We sat at the bar which was impressive with the size and shape of it. Our bartender was wonderful! We did walk in towards closing time but not once did we feel like the employees were inconvenienced with us being there.
